A 37-year-old man is in custody after Cedar Hill, Texas, police arrested him for a shooting on Saturday morning.
One person died, and another person was transported to a medical facility.
The incident occurred just after 9 a.m., in the 400 block of Dollins Street.
When officers arrived to the scene, they located two victims whose identities haven’t been disclosed. One was declared deceased on the scene. The other suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Willie Vanross was named as the suspect. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail.
Although it appears to be an isolated occurrence, police haven’t stated a motive for the shooting.
An investigation is continuing.
