11 Year Old Dallas Boy Dead After Adult Points Gun At Him And Pulls Trigger

An 11 year old juvenile victim was fatally shot Thursday in a Dallas residence.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 7:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of Fatima Avenue.

Upon arrival they found an 11 year old suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

During the course of the investigation officers learned that the suspect, Andre Sharp, 29, had pulled out a .38 caliber revolver to show the victim and witness.

It was said that the suspect pulled out the weapon and shot it at both the victim and witness. When he pulled it on the 11 year old the gun went off and struck him in the neck.

The suspect Sharp gave authorities the weapon when they arrived to the residence.

The suspect and witness were both taken to the homicide unit for interviewing. The suspect Sharp was arrested and charged with murder.
