A 14 year old teen was shot at the Royal Inn Suites in Dallas Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the 6900 block of Marvin D. Love Freeway and when they arrived they found a 14 year old suffering from a gunshot wound.
The teen was transported to Children’s Medical Center by Dallas for non life threatening injuries.
According to reports the detectives believe the teen walked up to a black Chevrolet pickup truck and was shot by an occupant inside.
The truck then fled the scene before police could arrive.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
This shooting investigation is ongoing.
