A 16 year old teen boy was arrested and charged as an adult for the death of his mother in Arkansas.
Officers responded to a dead person call on the 5400 block of Brush Creek Road Saturday morning and when they arrived they found Shondra Miller,37 deceased from a single gunshot wound to the head inside the home and her son Kaelon Presley,16 standing outside.
Presley was taken to the station for questioning and later arrested and charged with first degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.
It is unclear what led up to Miller’s death but her body will be sent to the state Crime Laboratory for autopsy.
Presley will be charged as an adult in this case.
