Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured Wednesday.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., on April 5 officers responded to a shooting call on the 1000 block of Ross Avenue. DART police arrived first on the scene to find two males suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced 17 year old Omarian Jamal Frazier dead at the scene. Another male victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
While investigating officers learned that an unknown suspect approached and shot both victims before fleeing the scene.
Authorities are investigating to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
