A 17 year old Lancaster High senior, Wyoming football recruit, was fatally shot early Sunday morning and another person injured at a Hawthorne Suite in Dallas.
The incident happened on the 7900 block of Brookriver Drive, about three miles from Dallas Love Field Airport.
Officers responded to the shooting call and when they arrived they found Tony Evans Jr,17 suffering from a gunshot wound as well as another person whose name has not been released.
They were both transported to a nearby hospital where Evans was pronounced dead and the second victim was listed in stable condition.
No suspects have been arrested and the motive for the shooting is still unclear.
