A man has passed away after he was shot, close to a memorial for someone else who had been killed on the same road, a few days prior.
The incident occurred on August 18, 2022. Authorities in Columbus, Ohio, stated that 19-year-old Sincere Moore was stationed next to a memorial for Lavarr Madison, 21. Then, an unknown person approached and shot Moore multiple times.
The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of South Ashburton Road, only three days after Madison was killed on the same road. Authorities have charged Jaizion Reid, 17, with murder in relation to Madison’s death.
Moore was transported to a medical facility in critical condition and passed away Sunday night.
When the shooting happened, authorities said that there wasn’t any seemingly provocation prior to the assailant opening fire.
Moore is the 89th person to die from a homicide in Columbus in 2022.
