Irving police are investigating after a 19 year old was fatally shot outside his vehicle.
On Sunday April 24, around 4 a.m. officers responded to an accident call on the 10200 block of N. MacArthur Blvd.
When they arrived they found the victim, Devirea Smith outside his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Baylor Grapevine where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time officers have no suspect(s) in custody. This investigation remains ongoing.
