Two males are dead and three others injured following a carjacking in Harris County Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m. officers responded to a carjacking call at a carwash on the 6900 block of Vickie Springs.
When they arrived a 17 year old told them he was washing his jeep when 6 people approached him and demanded his vehicle. He said one of them had a gun.
Five of the suspects then got into the victims jeep while the sixth stayed in their vehicle.
A short time later an officer spotted the jeep on Imperial Valley Drive and Greens Road and attempted to pull it over.
The driver then sped off and a chase ensued.
About 2 miles down the road the driver lost control and slammed into a tree. Four males were ejected from the vehicle while the fifth was trapped.
Emergency crews pronounced two of the males dead at the scene and the other three were transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Police found a gun with an extended magazine near the jeep and believe it was used in the carjacking. The sixth person still remains at large.
At this time it is unclear what bathes the surviving suspects will face.
