A Michigan man found dead in Tittabawassee River last weekend has been identified as 2010’s $2 million lottery winner.
Leroy Fick,69 of Auburn won the $2 million lottery in 2010.
He was on food stamps at the time of his winning and decided to take a $1 million lump payment.
During that time Fick bought a new home, spent about $200,000 in annuity payments and lost money in investments and buying fireworks.
In 2012 he was charged in Bay County with three misdemeanor counts of possession of illegal fireworks.
Fick’s cause of death is unknown at this time but authorities say his death does not seem suspicious.
