Man Who Attacked Transgender Woman May Have Been Offered $200

The man that attacked transgender woman in Oakcliff apartment complex may have been offered $200 by a bystander in the crowd.
According to police reports Edward Thomas,29 was offered money to viciously attack Muhlaysia Booker,23 Friday after she accidentally backed into another vehicle on the 3500 block of Wilhurt Ave.
During the attack a group of people gathered around and recorded the fight before 3 women intervened.
Booker suffered a concussion, fractured wrist, swelling and other minor injuries.
Thomas has been charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury and police are treating this as a hate crime.
Dallas police say there is a second suspect involved that hasn’t been charged yet.
This investigation is ongoing.
