Employee Shoots Man Trying To Climb In Drive Thru Window Of Ft. Worth Convenience Store

An employee at a Ft. Worth convenience store shot a suspect trying to climb in the drive thru window early Wednesday morning.
According to reports the employee called 911 around 2:15am to the J&K Food Store when someone tried to force their way into the drive thru window.
The employee said he feared for his life and shot the suspect in the side.
When officers arrived the suspect was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
It is unclear why the suspect was trying to climb in the window at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
