Texas Based Strip Club Owner Received $5.4 Million From Paycheck Protection Program

The owner of one of the country’s largest strip club chains Rick’s Cabaret and military based sports bars such as Bombshells received 5.4 million from the government’s small business coronavirus relief fund.
Strip clubs were specifically barred from the Paycheck Protection Program.
The owner received the funding in the early part of May according to its financial statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
