In Suburban Chicago, two people who were found dead in a UPS employee parking lot, have now been identified.
On Tuesday, Cook County Medical Examiners office stated that Barbara Philips,30 and Fabian Young,27 were the two people found dead at a parking lot in Hodgkins.
On Monday before 1 p.m. Hodgkin’s officers received a report of shots being fired, and when they arrived they found two people unresponsive on the ground.
When paramedics arrived on the scene they pronounced Philips and Young dead at the scene and a semi-automatic firearm was recovered.
Rodney Cummings stated that the incident was being investigated as a murder-suicide. It was also stated by officers that Phillip was a UPS employee.
UPS Spokesman Matthew O’Conner stated in a statement that “We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred this afternoon, and we are cooperating with the responding authorities,”. It was also added that the company couldn’t comment on the investigation into the shooting.
