A crash on interstate 35E left three women dead early Thursday morning.
According to Dallas County Sheriffs the incident happened around 5am when a car was stalled near Marsalis Avenue on the southbound side of 35.
Officers were responding to a stalled vehicle on the highway and when they arrived they found a pickup truck had crashed into the vehicle.
There were three women in the car at the time and two were pronounced dead at the scene while the third was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
The identity of the victims has not been released at this time.
The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
