Fifth Grader Arrested After Making Mass School Shooting Threat

A 10 year old Florida boy was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly made a written threat to conduct a mass shooting.

A fifth grader, at Patriot Elementary School was arrested Saturday after making a threat on May 28.

The School Threat Enforcement Team was immediately notified and began an investigation.

The child was arrested and charged with making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting.

He was later identified as Daniel Issac Marquez.

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said “This student’s behavior is sickening, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas.”
