55-Year-Old Man Charged With Stalking 6 Year Old Girl

A 55-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking of a 6-year-old girl in Deltona, Florida.

On September 9, the father of the 6-year-old girl called the Volusia sheriff’s office and reported his neighbor Mark Greenburg for making unusual comments to his daughter. The father stated that the comments were getting more frequent and worse.

Greenburg allegedly told the girl “I’m going to make you famous” and “I’m going to turn you into a woman,” according to Volusia sheriff’s office.

There were a couple times when the 6-year-old was staying at her grandmother’s house in a different neighborhood and Greenburg was reported to being parked outside taking pictures.

In the last 8 months there have been 11 complaints made to the Volusia sheriff’s office regarding Greenburg harassing neighbors. He has yelled at them and their kids using a megaphone and also drives past homes recording kids.

Deputies even tried to speak with Greenburg, but he would not open his door, according to Volusia sheriff’s office.

On September 10, The Deltona Crime Suppression Team issued a warrant and deputies returned to Greenburg’s house and arrested him. Greenburg is in the Volusia County Branch Jail with a 5,000 bond.
