58 Year Old Man Pistol Whipped And Fatally Shot On Great Trinity Forest Way In Dallas
Dallas police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that left a 58 year old man dead.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 7900 block of S. Great Trinity Forest Way around 11 p.m.
Upon arrival they found a 58 year old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the investigation officers learned that a witness saw a black man wearing all white with a white mask walk up the suspect from behind, pistol whip him and then shoot him.
The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
Authorities are working to determine the motive and circumstances leading up to the shooting. The victims identity has not been released at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
