Six people were discovered dead inside of a residence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Police believe the incident was a targeted attack.
Five men and one woman were fatally shot on Sunday, hours after a welfare check was conducted by authorities.
Four people have been apprehended, but no one has been charged. However, police do believe that more than one suspect is involved.
“We are still trying to determine what their involvement was, if any, in this homicide,” Police Chief Jeffrey Norman stated.
Neither a reason for the shooting nor the correct number of guns used in the occurrence are known.
Reports have indicated that 3 of the victim’s names are on a witness list for an upcoming murder case.
Although Officer Norman said that he doesn’t believe that was the reason the victims were killed, every avenue is being explored.
While investigating, authorities did learn that a woman had called 911 twelve hours before the shooting, saying that she had been shot at the location. Officials don’t think she was a victim in this shooting but are still investigating.
Charles Hardy, 42, Caleb Jordan, 23, Javoni Liddell, 31, Donald Smith, 43, Donta Williams, 44, and Michelle Williams, 49, were listed as the victims.
Three of them resided at the home where all of them were found.
