6 Year Old Shot In The Head By Older Brother In Critical Condition

A 6 year old boy was shot in the head by his older brother Sunday afternoon in Ft.Worth.
According to reports officers responded to a shooting call on the 1400 block Cloyne Dr and when they arrived they found a young boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
Apparently the older brother found a .22 caliber rifle and pointed it at his brother before pulling the trigger.
The 6 year old was transported to Methodist hospital and care flighted to another hospital where he remains in critical condition.
After investigation the family learned that an older teen in the home had recently purchased the rifle.
Detectives are investigating where the rifle came from and if the shooting was accidental or intentional.
This investigation is ongoing.
