A man has been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a man on Sunday.
The incident took place on the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
Upon arrival Jerry West,34 was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
Throughout the investigation officers learned that Demarco Donnell Meriwether,60 was responsible for the killing.
Meriwether voluntarily turned himself into police and admitted his guilt in the crime.
He was taken into custody and charged with murder.
