A 70 year old woman from Benbrook is dead after being shot and crashing into a guardrail in Ft.Worth Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a single car accident on the 2900 block of West Loop 820S near Camp Bowie Blvd and when they arrived they found a woman unresponsive inside a car.
Once emergency crews were able to remove the woman from the vehicle they noticed she had also been shot.
She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
This investigation is ongoing.
