The Justice Department reached an $88 million settlement with the families and surviving victims of the Charleston church massacre Thursday.
The incident occurred in June of 2015 when Dylan Roof entered Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church and opened fire killing nine people.
Survivors and family members of the victims filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department in 2016.
They claimed that the department was negligent and failed to prohibit the sale of a firearm to Roof.
In the settlement the victims families will receive between $6 to $7.5 million per claim.
The survivors will receive $5 million per claim.
Roof remains in jail where he was sentenced to death for his crime.

Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content
as you did, the net will be much more useful
    than ever before.
