Houston police are investigating after a 9 year old boy drowned while taking a shower Saturday night.
According to reports, officers responded to a call regarding a child drowning around 10 p.m. on the 15600 block of Corsair Road.
When they arrived they found the 9 year old child’s grandfather performing CPR on him. He was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital where he died.
During the preliminary investigation it was said that the child’s grandfather found him in the shower unresponsive. He then said he pulled him out and performed CPR until authorities arrived.
Although it is still unclear how the child actually drowned in the shower, the investigation remains ongoing.
