Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a child injured.
On May 7, officers responded to reports of the shooting in the 3200 block of Persimmon Road at approximately 8:05 p.m.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene and transported a victim, thought to be under 10 years old, to a nearby hospital, where their condition is stable.
Early investigations indicate that a child was shot.
Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the suspect is believed to have fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The investigation remains ongoing.
