Rowlett police are searching for a suspect connected to a recent shooting.
On June 13, officers responded to a shooting in the 5600 block of Rowlett Road. When they arrived, they found the victim, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
According to reports, the teen was shot in the head during an arranged meeting to exchange items in a business parking lot. The suspect has been identified as 17-year-old Xavier Sen’cer Stevenson.
He is wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Due to the victim’s age, his identity has not been released.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Stevenson and urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
