Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred outside a Jack in the Box.
At approximately 2:35 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 4400 block of Maple Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the restaurant. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and investigators are working to determine the events that led to the shooting.
The case remains under active investigation.
