Frida Introduces Breast Milk-Flavored Ice Cream for a Unique Taste Experience

75views

A new ice cream flavor that mimics the taste of breast milk has been launched.

This collaboration between the parenting brand Frida and ice cream producer OddFellows features a dessert that isn’t made from human milk but is designed to taste like it.

According to Frida, the ice cream is subtly sweet, slightly salty, with hints of honey and a touch of colostrum. While it doesn’t contain human milk, they believe their recipe offers a flavor quite close to the real thing.

You can try a scoop at the Frida Breast Milk Ice Cream Pop-Up in Brooklyn, NY (44 Water Street, Dumbo). Additionally, a limited batch is available for nationwide shipping through August 10, 2025—so act quickly!

Though the ice cream uses cow’s milk, it contains colostrum, which is also present in human breast milk. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that colostrum is rich in nutrients and antibodies beneficial to health.
