Gervonta Davis: Charges Dismissed in Baltimore Domestic Violence Case

333views

The domestic violence charges against Baltimore boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis have been dropped after his former partner decided not to pursue prosecution.

Davis, 30, was first arrested in July in Miami Beach following an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend in June. He faced a misdemeanor battery charge.

Reports state that Davis allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend on the back of her head and slapped her on the right side of her face.

His vehicle details had been logged in a law enforcement database, and a license plate reader in Miami Beach flagged his car. Miami Beach police conducted an initial stop before transferring Davis to Doral police. He was subsequently released on a $10,000 bond.

Davis, who has announced plans to retire and pursue therapy by the end of 2025, is a prominent figure in boxing and a native of Baltimore. His professional record stands at 30 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw.
