An employee at Sunshine Wellness Spa has been detained on charges of attempted sexual assault following allegations of unsolicited sexual conduct.
The investigation was initiated after complaints were made about inappropriate behavior during massage sessions at the spa, located at 151 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Suite 501B.
Police stated that the suspect, 49-year-old Gang Li, did not hold a valid massage therapy license until May 19, 2025. It has not been disclosed how long Li had been working at the spa. His license is currently under review by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Li was taken into custody following the investigation for attempted sexual assault.
Individuals who received massages from Li before May 19, 2025, or who experienced unwanted sexual contact while at Sunshine Wellness Spa, are urged to contact the Plano Police Department.
