Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place at an apartment complex in downtown Dallas.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on September 27, officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment on North Akard Street.
When they arrived, they found the victim who had been shot inside the residence. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a conflict between the victim and another individual. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect depart the scene in an unidentified vehicle.
The suspect’s identity has yet to be determined, and the victim’s name has not been disclosed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
