A man was detained following the death of a teenage boy.
At approximately 9:50 p.m. on September 28, 2025, Dallas police responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Ryan Road.
Initial findings indicate that police found a 16-year-old male who had been shot at the scene. The victim later died from his injuries.
Due to his age, the identity of the victim will not be publicly disclosed.
The suspect, 20-year-old Anderson Acabal-Nolasco, was arrested, booked into Dallas County Jail, and charged with manslaughter.
