Daycare Worker Fired After Hurled Shoe Incident Caught on Camera

A disturbing incident at the Destiny Development Center in Los Angeles has led to the firing of a daycare worker after she was captured on surveillance video throwing her shoe at a 5-year-old special needs girl while other employees laughed. The girl’s mother is demanding accountability, revealing that her daughter described the incident immediately afterward, but she was not permitted to view the footage for two weeks. Although the daycare director, Danielle Williams, claimed the incident was accidental, suggesting the worker was merely throwing shoes into another room, the employee and two others who failed to report the incident were dismissed.
