Alejandro Carmona, a sheriff officer in Jacksonville, Florida, was apprehended in March for online child solicitation.

It was then revealed that he is the same officer who was a part of a police brutality matter. This was where a Black woman’s teeth were said to have been broken.

Although Carmona was let go on bail in March, he was apprehended again on Friday, April 22. This came after a teenage boy presented sexual allegations against him.

Carmona, 47, has been charged with a child sex crime after providing naked pictures from his phone to the boy through Snapchat. A tipster told authorities that Carmona had met the boy at a gym.

Carmona is also charged with child sexual abuse material and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

In May 2020, Carmona had parked in Brittany Williams’ driveway, just because. When the 31-year-old woman asked him to leave, he wouldn’t. When she dialed 911 for assistance, Carmona screamed at her. Her trying to get help ended with her teeth being broken by JSO police (Officers Padgett and Carmona). This was after they came into her residence with no warrant. She was arrested for battery and was later found not guilty.

In December 2020, Williams, who now goes by Moore, came forth with body cam footage. This showed sexual misconduct by JSO officers. It showed them exposing her breasts and laughing about having sex with her. Officers also used inappropriate language to describe parts of her body. In the conversation, Carmona’s boss is heard asking him if he was at Moore’s house to have sex with her.

After Moore’s case was over, it was found that Carmona had 28 complaints against him. These came from his supervisors and people in the community.

He is currently suspended from his job as the department is planning on firing him, authorities say.

“I’ve been praying for justice every day since my incident with JSO police. I’m glad things are finally coming to the light. I hope Carmona doesn’t get away this time,” Moore said.
