Former Texas Police Officer Given 20 Years In Prison After She Had Sex With Two Underage Boys

Delia Ruiz, 31, is an ex-police officer in Friona, Texas. She has now been given 20 years in federal prison for sexually assaulting two teen boys.

In January, Ruiz pleaded guilty to enticement of a minor. On Wednesday, she received her punishment.

Ruiz confessed to having sex with a 16-year-old, in the fall of 2020 until the spring of 2021 when the boy was 17.

She then confessed to having sex with a 15-year-old who she had met at the previous victim’s residence, in the spring of 2021.

At least three times, she texted the 15-year-old and met him to have sex in her car in a church parking lot. She also sent him photos of her breasts, buttocks, and vagina. Additionally, she sent him a video of herself masturbating, warning him not to tell anyone.

There was a third victim, but Ruiz said that she hadn’t had an opportunity to engage in sexual intercourse with him.

In October 2021, Ruiz was apprehended and terminated from the department.
