A 17 Year Old Is In Custody And Two Others Dead After A Social Media Friend Request Causes Jealousy

Two males are dead another injured and a 17 year old in custody after a shooting in Arlington Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 900 block of Tennessee Trail.
Once officers arrived they found two males lying on the ground in an alley and a third person suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Authorities detained Lorenzo Armstrong Jr. Armstrong Sr and Tavicia Perkins for questioning.
During questioning Armstrong Sr told officers that his nephew Michael came to his home with two unknown males to fight his son Lorenzo.
He said Michael was upset because his cousin sent his girlfriend a friend request on Facebook.
According to the uncle Michael punched his son multiple times in the face and as he attempted to break them up an unknown male began striking him.
During that time he pushed the unknown male into a fence and saw the gun fall to the ground.
Lorenzo Jr then picked up the gun and opened fire striking all three males.
While in custody Lorenzo Jr told police that the unknown men were jumping his father.
He is being held in Arlington jail.
