78-year-old actor Gary Busey is facing sexual offense charges that allegedly occurred at a convention this month.
On Friday, Busey was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment, stated the Cherry Hill, NewJersey, police on Saturday.
The offenses were said to have occurred at the yearly Monster Mania Convention at the Doubletree Hotel on Aug. 12-14 in Cherry Hill.
All three days, Busey, from California, was scheduled to be featured as a guest at the event.
Busey is well-known as a character actor, mostly in supporting roles. However, he was vastly seen and nominated for an Oscar for best actor for playing the title role in the 1978 movie, “The Buddy Holly Story.”
An investigation is continuing.
