Amazon Will Give You $10 To Scan Your Palm

Amazon is attempting to get more individuals to use its palm-recognition technology. Thus, they are giving $10 for your palm print.

Amazon One was made available at certain Amazon Go stores last September. In April, it was available at various Whole Food stores. However, since it is not being utilized as they expected, Amazon is offering the incentive.

The company decided that it was too hard to identify people through images only. Therefore, they decided to use palm- recognition.

Amazon stated that “the service is designed to be highly secure and uses custom-built algorithms and hardware to create a person’s unique palm signature.”

Additionally, it is said that Amazon received permission from the FCC to use radar to collect information and analyze people’s sleep patterns.
