Ambulance Worker Sexually Assaults Teen On The Way To The Hospital

4.7kviews

Last week, an ambulance worker, in California, was apprehended after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old while she was being taken to a hospital.

Authorities say that 22-year-old Jason Anderson was working in the back of an American Medical Response ambulance on Friday. That is when he “sexually assaulted and solicited sexual acts from the teenage patient,” sheriff deputies say. Her legs were restrained during the incident.

The teen had been transported from her school after having a mental crisis.

Anderson, from the city of Wildomar, was jailed at the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center. He was charged with felony sexual battery and felony sexual penetration by force of a 14 to 17-year-old person.

Anderson was freed from jail the following day after posting a $75,000 bond. Detectives think that there may be other possible victims.

An internal investigation is being performed by AMR, and the incident was reported to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department for a thorough review.
