A babysitter has been arrested for the death of a 2-year-old boy that was in her care in Mississippi.
On September 13, Authorities responded to reports of an unresponsive 2-year-old boy and an injured 11-month-old girl at a home on County Road 380 in Corinth.
The boy had multiple bruises and marks over his body, according to the police. The girl was found suffering from various unidentified injuries.
The children were taken to the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The boy was pronounced dead, and the girl remained hospitalized.
Police later identified that the two children were in 23-year-old Makallie Durham’s care
Durham is facing capital murder and felony child abuse charges.
