On Thursday, Nichole Cyr, 27, confessed to committing sex crimes against two children that she was caring for.
The Fall River, Massachusetts, woman was apprehended in July 2020 after authorities found explicit material related to children on her phone.
Detectives were able to name the two victims, ages seven and two, and found that they were children that she had babysat on multiple occasions. They discovered that Cyr took videos and images herself and shared them with someone else, too, Paul Weddington, 51, who helped produce the videos. He pleaded guilty to child pornography charges and was give a 12-year prison sentence earlier this year.
Cyr pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of children. This is punishable from 15 to 30 years in prison and five years of supervised release. A fine of $250,000 is also associated with the charges.
Cyr is set to be sentenced on December 20.
