Body Cam Video Shows 4-Year-Old Firing Gun At Police Officers

A few months back, a 4-year-old boy shot at police officers in Utah. Now, police have released body cam footage of the occurrence.

The incident happened at a McDonald’s in February.

Authorities say that the father of the child, Sadaat Johnson, was recently found guilty of child abuse and assault.

Workers in McDonald’s used their cell phones to record while police approached Johnson. Workers had stated that the father had threatened them as he was in the drive-thru. He had gotten mad because his order was incorrect.

As the McDonald’s workers were hiding, police were trying to determine who fired a weapon.

Shockingly, they found out that it was the 4-year-old who was in the father’s vehicle with other children.

Police took the kids inside quickly and apprehended Johnson.

“I grabbed my dad’s gun and tried to shoot police so he could be free and do what he wanted,” police stated that the 4-year-old said to them.

“Our freaking heads were all right there. I mean, had it been lower,” on officer noted, describing how dangerous the situation was.

When he was questioned, Johnson told authorities that the 4-year-old boy had gotten ahold of the firearm previously.

Luckily, no one was wounded in the incident.
