A woman in Bolivia found a finger from a human in her hamburger while at a fast-food restaurant.
Estefany Benitez went to dine at a Hot Burger food place in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on Sunday.
As she began consuming her food, she thought something just wasn’t right. She then pulled the cut-off finger out of her mouth.
Benitez posted photos online of the severed limb and a piece of the burger can be observed missing. A video shows an employee seemingly apologetic. He explained that the burgers come to their location already prepared.
In the end, a representative for the company said that it was an “unfortunate incident.” He said that an employee had lost some of his index finger when prepping the meat.
The branch has been shut down at the moment, and the company has received a fine.
