Two small children were found abandoned along the Rio Grande by U.S. Border Patrol agents Tuesday.
The agents were performing boat operations around noon when they noticed an unusual color along the riverbank.
Once they noticed they were children the agents worked quickly to retrieve them.
A note was found under the infant carrier that stated the girl was 2 the boy was 3 months and that they were siblings from Honduras.
The children appeared to be well and were transported to the Uvalde Station for processing.
