Burleson Man Arrested And Charged In Fatal Stabbing

Officers were called to Dalton’s Corner, on the 200 block of S. Main St in Burleson on June 5, around 2:13am in relation to a stabbing. 
When police arrived on scene, they found Bobby Lee West,34, from Mansfield suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to John Peter Smith hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Burleson Police Department stated that an in-depth investigation was done.  Furthermore, they gathered evidence and talked to witnesses. June 17, 2021, Joshua James Wright, 32, was served with an arrest warrant at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center. This is where he is being held on a probation revocation warrant. Additionally, the suggested bond for the murder charge is $200,000.

The Burleson Police Department would like to  express their gratitude to the citizens for assisting in solving this case.
