A California man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his two children.
The incident occurred on the 45000 block of Century Circle around 7:30am Friday morning.
Authorities went to the home to check on a gas leak but once inside they discovered the deceased bodies of a 12 year old boy and a 13 year old girl.
They found the two children were decapitated and had suffered multiple stab wound and lacerations.
Authorities questioned a male and one adult female along with two other children that were inside the home at the time of the incident.
Maurice Taylor,34 was arrested at the home and charged with the murder of his son and daughter.
He was booked into Lancaster jail and is being held on a $2 million bond.
