A jury has awarded Cardi B a great amount against celebrity blogger Tasha K.

Tasha, whose legal name is Latasha Kebe and her business, Kebe Studios LLC, will have to dish out $1.25 million to Cardi.

Tasha and her company were found guilty of defamation, invasion of privacy through false light portrayal, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Cardi was given $1 million for her pain and suffering and $250,000 in medical fees. However, reports haven’t revealed any information on those fees.

“My husband, attorneys, and I really fought hard. I want to thank them for their long hours and sleepless nights…,” Tasha tweeted in response to her loss in court.

In 2019, Cardi filed a lawsuit against Tasha after trying to get her to stop telling fake stories about the rapper. Some stories explained that Cardi had numerous STDs, including herpes. Furthermore, Tasha claimed that Cardi picked up the STDs when she was a stripper, having sex with beer bottles. She even said that Cardi was cheating on her husband, Offset.

In court, Cardi testified that as a result of the lies, she was suicidal, fatigued, had anxiety, lost weight, and had migraines. She stated that she eventually had to seek therapy.
