Cedric Ceballos, an ex-NBA Player, has been in the icu for 10 days following his diagnosis of the Coronavirus.

He posted a picture of himself wearing a breathing mask as he laid in a hospital bed.

The day before he went into the icu, he posted a statement on Instagram. “I have contracted COVID-19. I am out of the hospital and resting at home. Hopefully I will get back to the best of health and quickly recovery…. Thank you for your understanding, and God Bless.”

A day later, he returned to the medical facility.

Ceballos, the cousin of the late Kobe Bryant, played for the Mavericks, Suns, Lakers, Pistons, and the Heat.

He has a medical history of heart attacks which are risk factors for people with COVID-19.

  1. I hope and pray this young man is doing well and is back on his feet. This year I lost my 35 year old son to Covid-19 Delta. He did not come back home to me. This has turned my world upside down and my life will never be the same again. As of now I’m just barely struggling to stay alive, my health has really declined, though mostly because it has been so difficult dealing with the loss of my son. Covid-19 is ruthless!
