A person is in critical condition after being shot in the chest at the Ellis Davis Fieldhouse during the SOC vs Kimball game Saturday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 9100 block of S. Polk St and when they arrived they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and an injured DISD officer.
The persons name has not been released at this time and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The DISD officer was also transported to the hospital after being struck in the back with shrapnel.
