Jackson State Tigers Head Coach, NFL Hall of Fame Deion Sanders, has put restrictions on what his players can wear around campus and in classes.

Coach Sanders gathered his team on the first day of school for the 2022-2023 year and made them aware of his expectations. He addressed what kind of shoes they are not allowed to wear and also how they should conduct themselves in class.

“No slides. No slides. No exposed armpits. No wife beaters. Sit at the front of the class and be the perfect gentleman because at the end of the day, and you need help, that teacher will remember your character and who you’ve always been in that class.”

He then went on to tell his players that they need to shower before class and make sure they don’t stink. “I don’t want anyone to tell me that you were in a mess in our clothes, representing us. The kids in the back of the class are making noise, he freestyles the whole class while I was trying to teach him in a Jackson State football jersey. It will not arrive. When it comes back to me, first it comes back to your coaches, then it comes back to me. When it comes back to me, it’s going to be a problem.”
